UN Climate Conference in Poland
BEC presented biochar technology for climate change mitigation in Pavilion 5 at the UNFCCC COP14 in Poznan, Poland, Dec 1 -12, 2008
The IBI and BEC convened two biochar side events at the UNFCCC on Friday, December 5th, 2008. One in the Fox Room and a second at the Polish Government technology exhibition.
Micronesia has tabled a biochar proposal at Poznan, thus insuring that biochar is eligible for inclusion in negotiations at Copenhagen for post 2012 rules.
